Dedicated to performing the highest quality of work for electrical utility companies and the oil and gas pipeline industry.
Founded Sol Powerlines, LLC which provides overhead electrical distribution and substation construction, maintenance services, and emergency/storm response nationwide. Both Sol Powerlines and SolScapes are Louisiana-based companies, privately held and certified Woman-Owned businesses.
James Cody Stewart – Director of Operations - Twenty-nine (29) years in construction, maintenance, and repair of electrical distribution and transmission systems. Experience working for Florida Power & Light in Florida as well as PG&E in California. Assists with management of projects and service agreements in accordance with SolScapes and Sol Powerlines policies and procedures; assists with contract negotiation, change order identification, submittal and approval, administration and establishing the means to execute contracts to include management of material procurement, estimates, and proposals for site-specific projects.
David Bernard - Operations Manager for SolPowerlines, LLC- Thirty (30) years of overhead electrical distribution and underground construction experience. Involved in the design, development and construction of commercial, industrial and electrical powerline distribution, power and communication structure projects. Direct interaction with senior executives, project managers and account managers with Sol Powerlines and our utility customer base. Facilitates strategic planning of business development, budgeting, estimating and construction of renewable projects.
Mike Bergeaux - Director of Safety and Loss Control - Retired from ALEC (Association of Louisiana Electric Cooperative) and has 40 years of electrical utility experience. As Emergency Work Plan Coordinator for LA Cooperatives, Mike organized and dispatched crews to Oklahoma, Arkansas, Kansas and Missouri for ice storms, local tornados and Hurricanes- Katrina, Rita, Gustav, and Ike. Established professional and personal relationships with statewide co-ops across the country. Other affiliations and training include Certified Loss Control Professional (NRECA), Louisiana Administrator for Safety Accreditation Program (NRECA), OSHA Ten & Thirty Hour Training, OSHA 300 Log, Supervisory Program (40-hour training NRECA), Supervisory Training (Federated Insurance), National Electrical Safety Code updates program, Accident Investigation, First Aid/CPR/AED/Instructor American Safety & Health Inc.
Blake Lemoine - Safety Manager – Started in powerline overhead distribution work and has over twelve (12+) years of experience. The motto “I AM MY BROTHER’S KEEPER” established roots in Blake’s heart and he decided that safety was his calling. Powerline Safety and Training Expertise includes, Certified Occupational Safety Specialist (COSS) certification, Pole Top/Bucket Rescue Training, PowerSafe, First Aid, CPR, AED certification, OSHA 30 certification, Certified Collector for DOT drug screens, and TWIC – Transportation Worker Identification Credential.
